For the third time, EcoVadis recognise Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise's contribution toward creating a sustainable planet
PARIS, France – June 22 2022 - Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, a leading provider of communications, cloud and networking solutions tailored to customers' industries, is pleased to be recognised once more as a recipient of the EcoVadis Silver Medal rating. ALE previously received this distinction in 2019 and 2021. The company achieved its highest score thanks to continued improvement and reporting new sustainability certifications in the past year.
ALE strives to deliver ongoing improvement in a changing market. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainability are part of what defines us as a company. We are committed to protecting the environment by operating in a way that helps ensure a sustainable future for all. In alignment with our Corporate Social Responsibility efforts, ALE has participated in the EcoVadis Sustainability assessment since 2016.
EcoVadis is an external assessment focused on 21 sustainability criteria, grouped into the categories of Sustainable Procurement, Environment, Labour & Human Rights and Ethics. Based on the most recent assessment, ALE was awarded a Silver Medal rating in the area of manufacturer of communications equipment, moving from “Moderate” to “Advanced” status and ranking in the top 7% of participants across the industry. In addition, EcoVadis recognised Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise as a beginner in the new Carbon Management Level introduced for this assessment.
